CHASE FOR THE CUP RACE

We just got back from Lowes Motor Speedway. We went to the October Races and loved it. Joe and Donna Pozda went with us. We all enjoyed the Dirt Track Rack, Pole Race, Busch Race and the Cup Race. My driver, Clint Boyer (Jack Daniels), came in second!! That was fun to listen to and watch. Trish, Rick, Matt, Nicole, Jamie and Rick came for tailgateing Saturday. Trish and Rick stayed Saturday night. We all had a great time!!

Karen and Ed at Corvette Funfest!

We met Karen and Ed for the Mid America Corvette Funfest. Too bad we didn't have the Vette. We bought a cover for our Corvette, and I got a nice leather jacket though. As usual when we are with Karen and Ed we just can't stop laughing!

Karen has said something, and Tim and Ed just can't stop laughing. This weekend was GREAT! As usual we could not stop laughing. They stayed with us in the coach, and we all had a great time.

Ed and Karen's Corvette looks great with our Coach! Everyone in this campground was pulling a Vette on some kind of trailer. One Vette was pulling a little tiny camper!

Grant's Farm

Grant's Farm in St. Louis is where they keep the Clydesdale Mares, Foals, and Colts. The also have the Studs here who are retires from the Anheuser Busch Team. This is a nice looking colt. He may make the team
This colt didn't look like he was the right color for the BIG team !!

Beautiful color and markings. We were a little concerned about this horse laying down, but we found out he was only a THREE week old foal.
Same foal finally got up. He was with his mother!!

Anheumer Busch

This is the chandelier and stained glass windows that are in the stables where the Clydesdale Horse are stabled. They stay here when they are not on the road. It takes 5 hours to dress them for pulling the wagon. These horses were beautiful. They each had their own huge stall with there name on it. To be on the Anheumer Busch Team they all must have the same markings and be the same height.
You could eat off the floor of this brewery! It was unbelievable how pretty the whole brewery appeared.
Go Bud! Our favorite beer!

Views from the Top of the Arch

This is the Casino Queen from the Arch. This is the Big Rig Resort where we stayed. If you double click on the picture you can see our Coach. It is in the second row from the right. There are three coaches in that row. We are the one at the top of the picture. We loved this place and spent several nights at the Casino. It was a great time!!

This was our little car we rode to the Top of the Arch.
Tim in the car. Not much room!!
Tim at the top -- 630 feet up in the Arch. You can see that there is not really anyplace up there that is level.

BACK to St. Louis ARCH

This time when we went to St. Louis we stayed at the Casino Queen which is right across the Mississippi River from the St. Louis Arch. It was a great Big Rig Resort with beautiful views.
This is the little car that you ride up the Arch. It holds 5. This car has only 4 people riding. You can imagine how crowded it would be with 5.

This is a replica of the little car you take to the top. This is such a great experience!
