Snowshoe, West Virginia

As a retirement gift, the people that worked for Tim at Ecolab gave us four days at Snowshoe, WV. As you can see, it was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the snow, fireplace in the room, shopping and the wonderful restaurants. As a side trip we went down to Cass for the afternoon to see the Scenic Railroad! Now that is a true WV mountain town. Of course the railroad was closed, but we had taken the train to the top of the mountain years ago when the kids were little! Tuesday we leave for Texas.

That does look like a cute town. I wish I could have made it.

Patti, Have a super time! It looks like you really enjoyed Tim's "gift." Carl and I are heading to Tampa to watch Donna Crandall's son-in-law pitch for the Phillies. He was just named 5th in the pitching rotation. We can't wait to see him pitch. We saw him last year as a relief pitcher. He is such a nice guy. Lynn Croll reminds me EVERY day why I'm glad I'm retired!!!!!! She has FINALLY had her fill of the HPE "Little Man."
