Springfield, Illinois

The old Capitol Building used during Lincoln's time.

This is the new Capitol Building only a few blocks from the old one. This building has an inuse railroad track right in front of it. It makes a beautiful building not very appealing to the eye.

Patti and Tuck in front of Abraham Lincoln's home. He owned and lived in this house right before he moved to DC as President. This was the only house that Lincoln ever owned.

This is the Lincoln house again. The little grey house beside it is where the Sheriff lived. The Sheriff helped with Lincoln's campaign. The man who lived about where I took this picture opposed Lincoln's nomination.
